Disasters; Doorways To Miracles

Believers should always be looking for opportunities. Every problem holds a promise. Every storm has a solution. We visit the story of the blind man in John, chapter 9:1-7, which reveals to us four different attitudes; Religious, Redemptive, Responsible, and Rebellious. For the blind man, the miracle was not in the mud - it was in his faith. The question to each of us is, "Do you believe?"

Treasure Hunters

Pastor Dale Yerton kicked off Camp Meeting 2014 with an awesome message. Everybody is looking for something. If you are a treasure hunter, four words are important; House, Seed, Field, and Treasure. The house represents the church, the seed is the Word of God, the field is the world, and the treasure is the Kingdom of God. Brother Dale uses Matthew chapter 13 to show us that life is in the seed, we plant the seed in the field, then we find treasure in the field, harvest in the field, then to bring the treasure to the house!

Spiritual knowledge combats false teaching and the lies of the devil. Hosea the prophet declared that God's people were being destroyed by their lack of knowledge. It is no wonder then that the second virtue, 2 Peter 1:5 tells us to add, is knowledge. We must be active in our pursuit of understanding God and His ways!

It does not matter what the world does around us, the Lord has provided everything we need to live godly lives. In this sermon series, we will cover the seven characteristics that according to God's word will cause our lives to bear fruit and bring spiritual stability

Do Business Until I Come

What If I knew the day and hour that Christ was coming back? What would I do? Would there be a sense of urgency to share Jesus with those around you? The church is missing this sense of urgency. We need to be reaching people for Christ before He returns. Our Lord is so loving and kind, He is allowing us this time to reach those around us before it is too late!

Able Ministers

The follower of Christ is empowered for Christian living and ministry by the Holy Spirit. In 1 Cor. 3:6, Paul tells the church that he and His ministry team were made "able ministers," which means qualified and adequately empowered! The scriptures call us to be full of the Holy Spirit. Let us seek daily to follow this command.

God never chooses us based on our resume. Many of us have a desire to be witnesses for Christ and for our lives to be used for God's glory. However, we often set out to accomplish this task in our own strength. Moses attempted this and failed, but by God's mercy, God's calling stayed on Moses and he learned that who God calls, He equips!

Eating The Secret Meal of God

In John 4:32, Jesus tells His disciples that He has meat to eat that they knew nothing about. That meat - was doing the will of His Father. In His encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well, Jesus shows us what the will of the Father is; seeking and saving that which is lost! We too are called to partake of this meat.

Carried To The Table

It is so important for those who are "in Christ" to understand their position before God. The story of Mephilosheth in the book of 2 Samuel gives us a great type of our blessing through Jesus Christ. Just as Mephilosheth could do nothing to be invited to the kings table, neither can we!

What, Me Worry?

We live a stressed, over-burdened generation. While stress and anxiety often consume our minds and even negatively impact our health as the Christian. Jesus clearly tells us not to worry! Worry is unbelief in disguise and therefore, is actually a sin. God's cure for worry is found in Philippians 4:4-9.
