Rick Clendenen

Prophetic Word for 2015

Brother Rick Clendenen came and gave a prophetic word for this year. The church will be more of a demonstration of Christ than just the manifestation of Christ. We need to know the time and season we are living in - read 1 Thessalonians chapter 5. Everything can be found in these verses for us to live in this time; how to be the church, how to watch our personal attitude and the need to trust God for His grace. Brother Rick closes with the keys to survival for the church in the last days.

Remember Lot's Wife

Jesus is coming soon, are you ready to stand in the last days? Have we prepared our families to go before the Lord? We are in a generation that doesn't know Jesus. We are called to be a noble people, to seek out the truth in the Word of God. We serve a God who is unshakeable in an environment that is shaking around us. Jesus answers the question asked in Luke - finally in verse 32, "remember Lot's wife." It is important for us to know what Lot's wife represents in the last days.

2 Corinthians 10:4 says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds." We need to separate who God is using to help us from who we're battling and avoid getting involved in things of the flesh. God moves in ways we cannot begin to conceive. Let God fight your battles - He never loses. God helps us to choose the right timing, the right people, the right position, the right pattern, when to pursue and when we should stand still. He sends the Holy Spirit to guide us and to be our covering. Read Ephesians 6:10-17 and put on the whole armor of God.

From last night's message we know God has placed a call on our life. Now we need to prepare for warfare. Preparation is necessary for victory and is never a waste of time. Rick goes through the "Principles for Preparation" and then shows us the foundations of "Corporate Preparation" in Judges chapter 7.

Rick Clendenen brings a message to us who are 'Warriors in Warfare.' In order to get to the place where God is taking us, we have jump a few hurdles. The first mistake we make is judging God in comparison to our circumstances. We serve a BIG God who holds the universe in the palm of His hand. In Judges chapter 6, we learn about the call and the confirmation God gave to Gideon, revealing to us that God has placed a call on our lives as well.

Jesus taught in parables, revealing principles that can be applied to our everyday lives. First, we have to understand the storm, which is anything that hinders or distracts us from the purpose of God or any spirit that resists God. Five points we need to understand for our life; God's position, His power, His purpose, His plan, and His peace. Brother Rick Clendenen, and his wife Debbie are visiting us from Benton, KY.

Let Benjamin Go

We need to take hold of the "power of release." That we may receive God's repositioning. Read Genesis 43:11 to 17. Lessons we learned from Joseph; Our attitude determines our altitude - how far we go with God. Attitude is more important to God than aptitude. Your attitude towards doing something for God means more to Him than your own skill set to accomplish it. Attitude is the thermostat, not the thermometer. It matters what "temperature" it is set on - your willingness to complete the task. God cannot promote you above your attitude. Principles concerning loss; loss comes to everyone, loss causes us to hold on tightly to what remains, and how we handle loss determines if we receive gain. We need to realize what the "Benjamin" may be in our life. The results of 'letting the Benjamin go' in our life will result in; getting ourselves back, our presents needs met, and we are repositioned for our destiny. For Moses, it was his rod. For Abraham, it was Isaac. For the widow, it was the last meal. For the rich, young ruler, it was his money. We need to realize what our "Benjamin" is - what we are holding onto so tightly - release it to God and see what He does in our life. We apologize, audio is not available for this week's message.

A Cause For Hope

Lamentations chapter 3 tells us how great is the faithfulness of God. Not only are His mercies new every morning, but God is mercy. Knowing that He is faithful and His mercies new everyday gives us reason to hope.
