Dale Yerton
Dale Yerton began his message in Daniel chapter 1. Daniel teaches us that we are not prisoners of war, we are children of God! If he can prosper in Babylon, we can prosper where we live! When Daniel changed his attitude and came to respect the authority he was under, God used him in a great way. God showed Daniel, he was looking backward when he should have been looking forward to the coming Savior - and we should be today. Redemption is the answer!
Believers should always be looking for opportunities. Every problem holds a promise. Every storm has a solution. We visit the story of the blind man in John, chapter 9:1-7, which reveals to us four different attitudes; Religious, Redemptive, Responsible, and Rebellious. For the blind man, the miracle was not in the mud - it was in his faith. The question to each of us is, "Do you believe?"
Pastor Dale Yerton kicked off Camp Meeting 2014 with an awesome message. Everybody is looking for something. If you are a treasure hunter, four words are important; House, Seed, Field, and Treasure. The house represents the church, the seed is the Word of God, the field is the world, and the treasure is the Kingdom of God. Brother Dale uses Matthew chapter 13 to show us that life is in the seed, we plant the seed in the field, then we find treasure in the field, harvest in the field, then to bring the treasure to the house!
