Camp Meeting 2013
Brother Dow Moses and wife, Debbie, pastor a church in Decatur, Illinois. Dow brought us a message about the importance of 'keeping the dirt out of our wells.' When you let spoonful after spoonful into your life - pretty soon it will stop up the well. Don't let your life be hindered. Clean out your well and allow God to move in your life.
Tim Dilena, from Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York, delivered a powerful message - about 'bad math.' Beginning in Acts 16:6, God gives Paul direction to not go to preach in a couple places before revealing where He really wants Paul to go. We learn from this that - "God is a Father and fathers will say no." Also, He says "no" for reason of protection - not rejection. God loves us so much. Sometimes when you are in a bad situation or troubled times and a door opens or a "way out" appears - it is not always God - showing us and wanting us to take it. Paul and Silas give us an example of "bad math" and how God used a trial to save a jailor, his house, and ultimately extend the gospel to us.
David Parish,President of World Missions Evangelism, delivered a message on transforming a nation. The main "keys" and steps for a transformed individual to go about changing a nation involve; Persuasion, Process, Prepare, Persistence and Patience.
Pastor Glenn Stevens has traveled all the way from Northern Canada to bring us a message on the "Essentials For Perilous Times." We're beginning to see perilous times and ideas in parts of the world around us today. We need to prepare and be ready to endure the coming days.
Lamentations chapter 3 tells us how great is the faithfulness of God. Not only are His mercies new every morning, but God is mercy. Knowing that He is faithful and His mercies new everyday gives us reason to hope.
Brother Rick Clendenen kicks off Camp Meeting with a message of advancing through the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
