Revelation

The Holy Spirit comes like a fire to purify, enlighten, warm, melt and consume. The scripture warns us to not quench or dampen the Spirit's work in our lives. This can happen when we refuse to respond, have an inadequate/chilled response, or an exaggerated/disruptive response to the Holy Spirit's promptings. We are called to be led by the Spirit!

The Willingness To Be Stirred

It is the Holy Spirit that stirs us, moves us and brings life to us and our churches. The question is, "do you have the willingness to respond to the Holy Spirit when He begins to move?" There is a danger of simply settling into our spiritual "comfort zone" and no longer desiring to be stirred. Fortunately, The Holy Spirit is faithful to continue His work in us. Let's respond!

A Word for 2015

World Missions and Evangelism President, David Parish, shared an update for missions projects across the world and a word with us for 2015. From Revelation chapter 4, verse 1, we see that God wants to brings us to a higher lever of understanding; a place to see His greater purpose and plan for our lives in the coming year.

The Testimony of Christ

As God begins to raise up a testimony of the grace and power of His son - know that Satan will make every effort to stop it. The Devil hates the testimony of Christ's saving, delivering, and healing power. However, we can rest in knowing that God always rises in defense of this testimony!

Since the time of Adam and Eve, God has desired that He have a people who are set apart for His glory. There is a clarion call throughout the scripture for those who receive Christ to come out from under the influence of the world. Sadly, the influence of the world has permeated much of the western church. Can we still hear the mercy call of God, to come out!?

Things To Come Part II

According to Hebrews 9:27 it is appointed for men to die but after this the judgement. In this message we look at what the scripture says about the day of judgement. There are two judgements: one for the righteous and one for the wicked. Both fall under the category of "Things to come!"
